We’re fortunate we got a black female VP. This country wasn’t ready for a black male president, what makes you think it’s ready for a black female president?

A black female VP that even democrats don't like because she has an incredible image problem.

I’d argue that the country that elected Obama, with more people pulling the lever for him than for someone else twice, was certainly ready for a black male president. It’s not like he was hiding his skin color during the campaign and then sprung it on the country after people chose him.

I have no doubt that if Kamala is thrust into the seat soon she wins November with the right #2.

Abortion, POC, and young voters push her across. No doubt.

And then we got the Tea Party and Trump running with the 1950s playbook.

The country elected a black man twice, when he was actually running.

Donald Trump ran against Hilary Clinton the first time, and to state the obvious, he lost the second time he ran.

Each of those elections were unique to the specific candidates, the relative amount of discontent people had with the last bullshit they had bought from who got elected and where the country was because it.

And when Barack Obama ran twice, he won both times. It's absurd to me for someone to look at that history and say,"The country wasn't ready for a black president."

We GOT a black president who won convincingly both times he ran.

Then we got Donald Trump when people got two shit-ass candidates that disgusted more people than inspired them. And after we got Trump out of that, we got Joe Biden in a closer election, when as many people wanted to choose hari-kari over either of them, but what people had seen from Trump was so horrifying to enough people that they pulled a lever against him more than they were choosing something proactively. At least that is my sense.
