If you have a chance, watch Anderson Cooper struggle to identify the Steelers by helmet logo.

I understand the thinking that "Mahomes has been there 3 times, Purdy zero" but hearing Aikman today, he reminded me that Kelly (and Bills) was in his 3rd straight when Aikman played in his first and Cowboys won.

Also Foles beat Brady when he was in what his 8th?

I know small sample size but that adds to my optimism.

If Watt only led the league in sacks, that might be a fair argument in Garrett's favor. He didn't. He also had more quarterback pressures, more quarterback hits, more deflections, more tackles for losses, more total tackles, more solo tackles, and more fumbles recovered. He also dropped into coverage a hell of a lot more often than Garrett, including a key play on which he got a pick-six.

Quarterback pressures and hits help cover for situations like the one you are talking about and they are more meaningful than win rate. Is a win really that significant if you are nowhere near the play? This also assumes PFF is accurate in these numbers that nobody else keeps. Given some of the nonsensical rankings they have come up with in the past, I don't trust their numbers, either.

Also, eight voters for DPOY didn't even have Watt among their top three. LOL idiots.

I’m sorry, but if you came here to have an argument about something awarded at the NFL Night Of Stars would you please have a drink from a nice big mug of STFU?

I posted that something they did was stupid. If others are foolish enough to argue in favor of that stupid decision, I will amuse myself by burying them with the facts. If you don't like it, it really isn't difficult at all for you to keep scrolling.

Unfortunately for Jim Kelly and the Bills, they were well into their own heads by that third Super Bowl appearance and whatever mental toughness they had left, the Cowboys certainly beat it out of them.

Plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the 49ers, it's a damn good football team. My concern is less about the QB and more about the defense that has gotten gashed in the run game during the playoffs. Whatever Pacheco's prop number is for rushing yards, I'm going over.

This got me thinking...what's the best team to lose a Super Bowl?

Feels like the 2007 New England Patriots take the cake. But beyond that. I wasn't alive to speak on the quality of the 1968 Baltimore Colts. I guess a list of teams I saw:

1983 Washington Redskins (Just steamrolled through the league after winning the SB during a strike-shortened season, but got punched in the mouth by the Raiders)

2020 Kansas City Chiefs (I think they went 14-2, but had those horrible offensive line injuries at the worst possible time)

1990 Buffalo Bills (13-3 squad that was easily, in my opinion, the best of their Super Bowl teams. I just knew the AFC was going to break their six-year losing streak in SB XXV)

2014 Seattle Seahawks (I mean they probably should have lost in the NFC Championship game, but that's no excuse for the shit they pulled in Super Bowl XLIX)

2009 Indianapolis Colts (Team started 14-0 and seemed fine in the Super Bowl until Pierre Garçon dropped a likely long touchdown and Hank Baskett couldn't recover an onside kick)

You could also throw that 2001 Rams team in there, probably that late 70's Cowboys team that lost to the Steelers (1978 maybe?). I also think the 1999 Tennessee Titians deserve a mention, they were a wild card team, but a 13-3 wild-card team that handed the 14-2 Jaguars their only losses that season.

Kevin Stefanski has more COY Awards than Andy Reid.
