In 2028 it will be 16 years since Democrats enthusiastically supported a candidate, 16 years since Democrats would actually WANT to be in attendance if the candidate was speaking in his town.

 

Biden got the all-time record number of votes in 2020, 81 million. Some of 'em must've been enthusiastic.

 

Yeah. Enthusiastic to get the incumbent out of office. That fire to beat Trump just doesn't burn as hot now. The fact that Haley outperforms Trump against Biden demonstrates that most of the Dem voting bloc is voting "against" the other guy more than they are "for" their own.

McCain and Romney were about as inoffensive Republicans as you could run against, but Obama wiped the election with both. Because enthusiasm.

 

We have yet to see how hot the fire to beat Trump burns, and we won't for some months. The point you make about Haley (perfectly true) indicates that the fire to beat Trump still carries some heat.

 

I don't know where anybody gets the idea there's some brewing groundswell of Dems/progressives to get behind Haley-- there isn't.

Like all the fascist party female/minority personalities, she's a self-hating token Stepin Fetchit doing the minstrel dance for Faux Fascist Noise and sucking the Fatfuck toadstool.

 

There is a groundswell among lefties to see her embarrass or at least provide a challenge to Trump in the GOP primaries, but those type of anti-Trump voters have more or less deserted the Republican Party. You’re either all-in with the dictator wannabe or you’re no longer a Republican.

 

Oh sure. Anybody who takes a hunk out of Fatfuck's ass is doing God's work.

But neither Nimrata nor anybody else is gonna "embarrass" Fatfuck in the primary chase. The dictator has complete control.
