Taylor Swift - Super Bowl Ring?

How is Taylor's funky Super Bowl Big Game road trip adventure not a Capital One commercial? A 60-second spot where she books the commercial (ha!) flight from Tokyo, then has to drive from LAX to Vegas, buys her tickets along the way, stops at a sketchy Inland Empire gas station for directions and snacks, and makes it into the stadium seconds before kickoff seems like a natural.

 

Like it's unusual to build a career by starting in the minors. Entertainers learn stagecraft and hone their craft by playing every stage they can get paid to step out onto.

Comedians used to call doing gigs at lousy clubs "Playing the toilets".

 

I'd only be worried if they run into Vin Scully. With a shovel.

 

A lot of comedians still go back to some of those clubs on the down low when they're trying out new material for that reason, so they can see what connects and work out the delivery and the beats.

They told him Taylor was at the Super Bowl and he went on a 10-minute tangent about seeing Jim Taylor score a touchdown for the Packers in Super Bowl 52.
