    The people with 9-9 and 2-5 in the Super Bowl betting pools have to be happy. Those usually aren't good numbers to have.

    The clock in overtime (in the playoffs) only matters for flipping the field.

    The first two periods are played like a half. If you run out of time in the second OT period, you're out of luck, and then there's another coin toss.

    I don't think you can blame Shanahan or any of the Niners. They were super well prepared and played their asses off. But they never were able to take the times they had slight advantages in the game and turn them into big ones. Can't miss your kill shots against Mahomes.
