So the bill's failure ensures pretty much the opposite of the Republicans' stated priorities, but more importantly, it helps with what Trump and the MAGAs DO want: to sow chaos. The Mayorkas impeachment is just another log on that fire. The party is fulfilling its current purpose: to help Trump's election prospects.

Remember a few years ago when there was speculation that the Republicans might make Trump Speaker after they took the House? Looks like they've effectively given him that job - and made him Senate Minority Leader, too.

About the only good thing Missouri has done in decades has been to vote down right-to-work every time it comes up on the ballot. Even smacked down the legislature when it tried to push a right-to-work amendment in the state constitution. And just this week (or last week) Democrats blocked a GOP initiative to make it much harder to pass a constitutional amendment, a big win for those opposed to the Supreme's Roe ruling.

Tennessee just put it in the state constitution because all the dumbasses read "right to work" and jumped on it, and it was worded so weird that even no could have meant yes, and yes could have meant no.
