13-year-old Andy Reid could post me up. Easily, I believe.

The last time I played full-speed, full-contact pickup basketball, I was playing against a 13-year-old kid who is the son of a family friend. I was probably 40. He was an inch taller than me at the time and about my weight, except all of his was muscle. I held my own with my outside shooting, but the third or fourth time I drove the lane only to bounce off the kid nearly to half court, I figured he was probably on his way to greatness and I was on my way to two days of pain.

He grew up to be a linebacker for an SEC program.

Bonus trivia: He had to borrow the Rams jersey and maybe the helmet from the team. He was too big for the jersey they handed out to him before the game.

Surprised - but not really - that Aaron Rodgers didn't have a single appearance in a Super Bowl ad. It wasn't like playing football would have interfered with a shooting schedule, too busy with the feud with Jimmy Kimmel I guess. Though an ad playing off his "darkness retreat" would have been hilarious. I'm guessing he could have had any of the spots that Dan Marino did before companies edged away from him?

I think some of his Super Genius takes on vaccines and so forth might have dimmed his bulb with advertisers. Though, I'd guess all will be forgiven if he comes back healthy and makes the Jets not suck.
