Had avoided this thread for a bit because I finally found time to watch the last three episodes of Fargo S5 last night. Just gripping shit. Juno Temple and Jon Hamm were both incredible throughout.

I mean, the use of YMCA when Roy was gathering all of the patriots at Tillman Ranch was a complete jab at Trump, right? Since he loves playing it at his rallies? Lots of not-so-subtle jabs at our current political environment throughout the season.

Curb Your Enthusiasm seems to have morphed from a loosely scripted show into Whose Line is it Anyway.

They have a scenario, tell some jokes then yell “fuck you” at each other.

There are still some great situations and funny lines but there isn’t any cohesion.

This season is gloriously stupid and I find myself gutting out these shows the way I do continuing education classes for work.

That's got to be a diff'rent strokes thing. Because I think the first three episodes have been outstanding and playing out in classic David fashion.

Larry's line "I'm authentic. I care about myself" is great.

And Susie Essman screaming profanities will never get old.

Finished Night Country (True Detective); thrilling, there’s complaints out there but IMHO you can always complain about something.

Anyone watch making of We Are the World on Netflix? Really fun to relive 1985 music scene.

Caught some of the James Brown documentary on A&E last night. Didn't realize he aligned with Nixon.

I had no idea JB on the pregame show was a Nixon fan.

    The more you know …
