2024 college baseball/softball thread

So far, I'm seeing an epidemic of this. My alma mater's No. 1 starter has been pretty effective, outside of plunking eight hitters in 7.2 innings. The team won its opener despite nine HBP in a nine-inning game.

I know I would be damn loose in the batter's box if facing them.

 

Never happen in pro ball, which is self-regulating. In college you don't have to make an effort to move out of the way.

 

Of course, that call is almost never made in the pros, either.
