    Correct.
Now, full disclosure, I didn't check the capacity of the old MSG. However, that building would be hard pressed to have held as many as the answer's arena.
Clue: was once an NBA city.

    Answer: St. Louis
In Feb. 1979, the Kansas City Kings defeated Philadelphia 119-104 in front of 19,606 at the then Checkerdome (St. Louis Arena).

I was actually thinking about that place, because it was huge.

I'd be curious what the attendance was for the 1973 NCAA men's national championship basketball game ... the night Walton went off on Memphis State for, what? 44 points?

    19,301.

Walton was 21-for-22 from the floor but only 2-5 from the line.

Indiana crushed Providence 97-79 in the third-place game.

Who recorded the first official quintuple-double?

Hint: It was done at the high school level by a future Hall of Famer.

In 1975, this city saw four professional sports franchises fold. Name the city, and bonus points if you can name the four franchises.
