The Broncos take an $85 million cap hit to dump Wilson, a few year after the Seahawks took a $26 million hit to get rid of him.

    Woof.

    Apparently Russ is overcooked.

The Broncos are cooked for the foreseeable future, with a FRAUD! of a coach and no quarterback in a division with Mahomes and quarterback whisperer Jim Harbaugh. Good luck, Donkeys!

Or incomplete and ball goes back to line of scrimmage going the other way

Why? It's just a regular forward pass.

I think this is just Payton's way of buying more time in Denver. But dang, I'm guessing the ownership wished they made a hire who could have made it work with Russ - and for a lot less dinero.

He can sign for the league minimum ($1.21m) - I look at his stats, and except for the passing yardage, he was in the top half of signal callers. Overpaid for the performance? Sure - but I really wonder if the Broncos will have a better answer this year.

And how is Paton still there after Hackett and Wilson? You wonder how he ever even rose to a GM position since he's never been part of a franchise that did anything remarkable while he was there.

No cap relief from a fully guaranteed deal. Even if he is QB3 material, they might as well keep him around.

I wonder how much losing Nate Burleson and Kay Adams has hurt viewership.

I've said before that I am a big fan of GMFB. I don't think the show skipped a beat without Burleson and Adams. That said, I'm not watcbing that show in the offseason. See you in September.
