Wonder who Louisville has already contacted through back channels and when the contact began.
Payne has already set the ACC record for losses in consecutive seasons.

Pacific's Leonard Perry gets the ol' "reassigned to other duties" at the school, which is always a hilarious way to say you've fired someone for going 29-65 over three seasons.

Of the three teams Santa Clara can possibly play in the WCC quarterfinals, two have fired their coaches already (Pacific and Pepperdine, who play each other in the first round on Thursday).

That dude went from Nate Robinson and Pac-12 titles at Washington to this.

“Thanks for slogging up and down the coast with these bums all winter but fuck you if you want to squeeze in a last trip to Vegas.” seems like a very specific form of petty.

Gonzaga, Saint Mary's and to some degree San Francisco & Santa Clara have made the rest of the WCC a great place to make a little bit of money, live in glorious conditions and lose a fucking lot. San Diego's made one NCAA & one NIT this century. Loyola Marymount (RIP Hank Gathers, who died 34 years ago yesterday) has been to three knockoff NITs this century. Pepperdine's been to three knockoff NITs (and won the 2021 CBI) since its last NCAAT in 2002. Portland's been to five knockoff NITs. Pacific's had two winning seasons since leaving the Big West, where it was a perennial contender. Not sure how you turn any of those joints around until/unless one of the big dogs leaves.

It is wild to me that BYU was never more than a sometimes bubble team in the WCC but is now solidly Top 25 in the street brawl that is the Big 12.
