I doubt that Dartmouth has a big pot of NIL money in the first place. I think we all will simply wind up watching to see where this goes.

In any other Division I conference, the idea that players are there for the schooling ahead of the sport would be laughable. But for the Ivy League I believe it. Surely these guys went in knowing that the real payoff was the education and connections they make on campus. In fact, I wonder if they didn’t take the lead on unionizing precisely because they knew they were risking less than players at Boston College or Drexel or some other private school with athletic scholarships.

It would be kind of funny if their collective *had* gotten like $1M to essentially be the test case for this.

In the Year of Our Lord 2024, they ought to be able to fix the picture so that the score bug isn’t hidden when turning the phone to landscape mode. Feels like I’m back in the 80s trying to watch Arch Madness while working.

Congrats to @TigerVols on the Tennessees winning the SEC. Enjoy it until the Sweet Sixteen — or earlier — Rick Barnes Special.

Pacific finally on the board, breaking Pepperdine’s 26-0 run to open the WCC tournament.

You do realize there are only four No. 9 seeds available, right?

Not your typical 8 vs. 9 game.
