There are people who look at that video and think Hogg is the crazy one.
I’ve never understood the level of vitriol toward him and his classmates. There was even some here.
I guess nobody likes a lens louse but what’s wrong with not wanting kids to be shot in school?

I have not researched it in any depth, but I seem to recall that former Governor Bob Riley (R, of course) and his family have been quite active in pushing for "school choice". I suspect that a number of members of the lege have invested in private education or are getting donations from that industry.

 

Can you imagine any male Republican politician delivering the SOTU rebuttal from his kitchen? I can't.

 

Bobby Jindal looked like he was being held hostage, with the kidnappers just out of camera range.

 

Arguably Britt came off worse than Jindal, which I didn't think was even possible.

 

The NC Chamber of Commerce put out a statement warning that all the MAGAs nominated by GOP voters to office are a threat to the state's business environment.

I've never seen a Chamber make a public statement about Republicans like that before. Pretty incredible.
