Isn't it time for her to rat out more of her sources to the FBI?

She's not wrong, though. The J6 committee refused to share evidence with investigators because they wanted what was found exposed during their hearings. It wasn't until weeks after the J6 was over that they turned over their data and transcripts. It sure would be nice to have that time back, as Trump's delay campaign has been successful so far.

It’s also completely plausible that the Biden campaign has had polling for years that shows they can only beat Trump and few others so that’s why they dragged their feet with the Trump investigations.

Lots of stuff is possible. Including polls that far out being accurate.

OK, it finally clicked in as to the real reason, IMO, that Hochul is doing this, despite it being out of line with the actual crime stats.

The congestion pricing plan (pay an extra $15 to drive into Manhattan, for those unfamiliar), is set to begin in June. This all seems to be to make the suburban commuters feel better about the subway so they'll resume taking mass transit, one goal of congestion pricing. Ridership still down from the pandemic.

So, performative to give the suburbans better subway "vibes." Which in turn is about the money.
