Yeah, I'd never heard about the murder charge at all. I guess it wasn't a secret — I think they said they talked about in the E:60 segment on him in 2011 — but considering how big a star he was and how all of his other demons were common knowledge, I'm surprised that has been kept on the down low for all this time.

Also watching the Shawn Michaels-Undertaker "Rivals" episode. I've managed to miss the first half of it twice now, but the second half is a fun retrospective of their two Wrestlemania matches.
The only disappointing thing about it is that they didn't mention (or maybe they did and I missed it) how those were really Parts 2 and 3 of a great five-part story that started with HBK-Flair and continued on through the two Undertaker-Triple H matches at Wrestlemania 27 and 28. Michaels was even an integral part of the latter, and elements of all five matches played into the others. A couple of minutes talking about it as a coda for the episode would've been interesting.

Of course, they also didn't talk about their REAL final match against each other in Saudi, either. :D

Ironic that A&E has Hall tonight, Dark Side has Bagwell this week, and then A&E has their savior, DDP, next week.

Other than the long road DDP had to prominence in WCW, don't know how much negativity there was in his life, so I'm looking forward to the positivity and all the lives he's saved or helped.

Watching the re-air of the Hall doc, and something seemed weird.
Hall said Vince wanted him to be "a soldier, like GI Joe" when he moved to WWF.
That would've been around 1992, right? Didn't Vince have Sergeant Slaughter -- literally GI Joe -- on the roster at that time? Why would he have wanted Hall doing the same gimmick?

I thought that, too, but what I think Scot was trying to get across: Vince knew about his dad's military service and brought it up with Scott. Scott was thinking Vince wanted him to be GI Joe, but Vince actually wanted him to be the antithesis of the straight-laced, gung-ho military hero -- the Bad Guy.

No problem with this whatsoever. But if they've got to pick a celebrity from those early years of WWE's '80s explosion, it's gotta be Cyndi Lauper.

Not sure why it's never happened, unless it's just never worked out with her touring schedule, or she's just declined.

But I think WWE still needs another big and more recent name to go in for this year's class. Heyman is a big one (especially in Philly), but I think there's still room for another.

    The Rock?
He'll be in town. He's definitely back with WWE. He definitely deserves it.

The only other two I can think of that would be A-listers who either aren't still working, aren't in AEW, or aren't persona non grata are Rock, Cena and Triple H. I'm not sure Triple H would put himself in, given his position in the company. Cena might or might not be available. Which leaves Rock.
Although you'd think that if Rock was going in they'd have announced him early to goose ticket sales.

Maybe they can finally go forward with Batista? I don't think he has ever been "officially" inducted since COVID wiped out the 2020 Mania. Not as big, but I'd also still like to see Luger.

Nick Khan has apparently been ID'ed as executive No. 1 in the Vince lawsuit. Steph has also been ID'ed as one of the anonymous execs.

Whats the TLDR on what that actually means? Nick Kahn is accused of what?

He wasn't alleged to be involved with the actual assault, but he was alleged to be involved with the cover-up.

Gotta have another ECW Original, IMO.

Tommy Dreamer is the obvious choice, but I know he’s committed to TNA. Ditto Taz with AEW. I’d love to see Dreamer and Raven go in together.

Since that likely won’t work, I’d be fine with Sandman, Sabu or The Franchise.
