Continuing the theme of employing slightly less young Sheldon, there's always Animal Control. It could also serve as Joel McHale's revenge of sorts. (BBT originally ran opposite Community.) I preferred the latter, loved both theme songs, but have had way too much fun using BNL's song as a launch pad for fun teaching activities.

First episode of Elsbeth was actually really good.

I’ve been watching Masters of the Air and after watching this week’s, I’m left once again feeling like I’m chasing the dragon. I really like it, but it is rushing and really not doing service to the most interesting stuff. They did it earlier where you glimpse a second story arc only for them to say “The most exciting part was how everything was fine.” Great. Could I hand seen how it was fine? And this week’s they literally sleep through the most iconic stuff. And it’s not a spoiler because they’re in the into, but they suddenly remembered the Tuskegee Airmen. Maybe for the bomb crew they’re focusing on it wasn’t practical, but I really wish I got more.

Until next week when I hope they don’t Dick around with the last dangling thread that I hope to get closure with.

I expected nothing less. Her character was gold in the other two shows.

The Tuskeegee airmen thing kinda pissed me off. There's no way that they're anything but flash, there's no time to tell that story. They just stuck them in as a hat tip, I guess.

Watched the first thirty minutes of Ricky Stanicky. It's a boilerplate bro comedy and I am unlikely to finish it. John Cena is good. The script is deadly. No amount of even above-average delivery can salvage this.

In fairness, they did more with it than having the Redtails show up as fighters guarding the bombers. Dial back the snark a notch, I guess.
