I think he has already declined quite a bit. I hope he has enough left to be good, but I'm not sold. They still need to address that offensive line. Some of the top free agent centers are already gone, so maybe they are planning to take one early. The Steelers had such a great tradition at center for decades. From Mansfield and Webster through Dawson and Pouncey, but that position has been a mess for three years. I hope they aren't planning to grab one off the bottom of the barrel again like they did with Cole the last two years.

If Pickett sits on a bench for a year and uses this as motivation to get better, if Wilson is one and done, whether because it didn't pan out or because he’s about to get Cousins-like money because he proved himself, Pickett will get another chance. I don’t doubt the franchise wants to see him succeed. If this is a gap year that allows him to take a leap when he returns, great. It’s the NFL. Got to see the results.

Actually, we all know guys who were nudged out of the spotlight early in their pro careers, hit the skids for a bit and came back to be better-than-average QBs.

    Baker Mayfield comes to mind.

Anyone check out Antonio Brown’s feed? Some interesting stuff there.

Please tell me he’s not comparing Matt Canada to Hitler again.

No, he’s either posting legit insider info or pretending to.

Panthers are at it again with trading away their best defensive player.

"Schoen gave up a second and fifth-round draft pick to acquire Burns — a tremendous bargain considering the Rams reportedly offered two first-rounders and a second-rounder for Burns in 2022, which Carolina declined."

Ekeler to the Commanders. He looked washed last year.

Tough day for Dallas losing 3 players, Pollard and 2 they likely wanted to keep to Washington, while the other 3 teams in the division all got better.

Vikings expected to sign Sam Darnold to one year, $10M deal.

Not quite a Gurley-esque decline, but there's a lot of tread on those tires. Solid enough guy still but not a no. 1/three-down back anymore. The Giants upgraded w/Devin Singletary, though who knows how he'll do going from running behind a rookie QB who is already a top-10 player at the position to some combination of whatever is left of Daniel Jones' neck and knees and the backup QB who knows where Jimmy Hoffa is buried b/c his family buried him.

I agree w/the WTF Eagles? sentiment. They are a fucking wreck. Lurie should have ripped off the band aid and fired that weirdo Sirianni. Kelce & Cox would have still retired but at least they would have reset a bit instead of trying to run it back with the guy who clearly lost the team.
