The Eagles offense needs a lead running back to work. Sanders did it well in 2022. Swift got off to a fast start, then was caught in the Eagles doom loop after the 49er loss. Barkley may or may not be the answer, but at least he's a response to the correct question. They're betting on their offensive line, which even without Kelce should be a solid to strong group.

I'm a fan of Minshew, but acknowledge he is like a QB 1A - not good enough over the long term, but can have good games here and there. But the signing baffles me, because I think of O'Connell the exact same way. Signing Joe Flacco would have made more sense. I'm guessing they'll draft "somebody" but its just an odd move. If Wilson was well liked in locker roomss - he'd have been a better fit.

At least we know who's going to have the slowest backfield in the league next year between him and Robinson.

The thing with Saquon, and I said this back in his college days before the tread was wearing off the tires, is that he's totally a big-play back. Which is not necessarily a good thing. He'll break a 49-yard run, but he'll surround it with a handful of 5-yard losses while trying to hit the six-run homer.

You know having tread on your tires means you have plenty of life left, right?

I do not think it means what you think it means.

Brain fart. I know what you're saying. It didn't come out that way. ;) But thanks.

Ton of interesting RB moves. Like the Bengals dumping Mixon and adding Zack Moss, who certainly looked like a big-time lead back when Taylor was out last year.

Derrick Henry to the Ravens. Baltimore running backs have about the same injury rate as the red shirts in the original Star Trek, so I guess Henry's not superstitious.

Please don't beam me down with Kirk, McCoy and Spock
'Cause if you do, I know that I'll be dead by one o'clock
Maybe I'll be vaporized or crushed beneath some granite
Bones will look at Jim and say "I'm just a doctor, dammit!"

I'm an extra on Star Trek
    It's my break on TV
The fourth man in the landing crew
It's the last you'll see of me

They didn't ask me if I wanted to go
And if they did, I would have told them no
Just because my shirt is red this doesn't have to be
Every time they beam down four they only beam back three

I'm an extra on Star Trek
    It's my break on TV
The fourth man in the landing crew
It's the last you'll see of me

So when they need men to beam down, don't be a volunteer
Just stay up at the helm and help Sulu steer
The Enterprise is much more fun when Scotty runs the crew
So you beam down, I'll stay aboard and have some Trinble stew

    It's my break on TV
The fourth man in the landing crew
It's the last you'll see of me

    Queen is 24…

Wilson signing looks better and better.

Yup. They still need some help in the secondary and at center, but Queen is a huge get for them.
