2024 college football offseason thread

    Cool. We will just see a repeat of the 1960s and 70s when schools like Michigan State and Pitt loaded up on southern African American talent because their home regions either weren’t hospitable or straight up didn’t take black players. Fine with me. My broke ass school needs all of the help it can get.

    Yes, I think they would. Power 2 takes 35-ish teams and adds 3-6-9 more, and tells the NCAA to further go eff itself. The TV money would be even more astronomical for regular season, postseason and a championship, and they could set up a revenue share.

    The rest of the schools could figure it out.

    There was a time when "D-1" football included all of what is now known as FCS.

    Given the lack of success in football, I think the move is like getting a new shot clock. I don't think he was guaranteed another five years or so in Lincoln. But starting out with a fb coach you didn't hire might be a problem.
