I'd suggest the G-5 and FCS schools "renegotiate" their payday game contracts - double their fees for showing up - a lot of these schools will pay that much for likely wins.

Yes, nothing less than $1 million per game; $1.5 million to SEC and Big Ten teams, who obviously will have the money.

Some of those schools are going to need to buy some wins along the way. Make them pay for the opportunity.

I just read that the conference of the G5 team which makes the playoff gets paid a playoff share. The other G5's don't.

The season is just over five months off, but we made our fall trip reservations today.

Oct. 12- Air Force at UNM

Oct. 15 - La. Tech at NMSU

Oct. 16 - FIU at UTEP

MACtion didn't work this year. And we shouldn't have a repeat of the snowstorm we got at Central Michigan last November.

Sounds like a fun Route 66 swing at the perfect time of the year. New Mexico is an underrated destination. White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, Socorro, Santa Fe...

I bought one of my all-time favorite baseball caps at a Santa Fe Fuego game a couple of summers ago. I don't know if the team merch is sold anywhere else in town, but it'd be worth a look to find something this cool.

The El Paso Chihuahaus are pretty fun. Great new ballpark too.

The son of Texas A&M's associate head coach Trooper Taylor, who was either just hired or was about to be hired by the Aggies, has been charged with two counts of murder in the poisoning death of his girlfriend and her unborn child.
