This narrative has been a part of just about every election cycle I can remember. Will it happen this time? I suppose anything is possible. But I’ll believe when it happens.

The trump RNC just slashed all their outreach. The plan isn’t to win voters, it’s to discourage and prevent people from voting. And I don’t think it’ll work.

The Dems have a positive record with accomplishments to run on. And time to restate their case to groups who aren’t happy. And the alternative is trump, who doesn’t give a flying fuck about anyone but himself.

I’d wager the numbers of votes from people of color the Dems and trumplicans get in November will end up being pretty close to what they always are.

One would think the DNC could just parade out all the former Trump White House staffers and cabinet members who will say, "please don't make this guy President again," but they'd be hand-waved away as Deep Staters.
