My average bet (sports, not horses) for the past year is around $2. I put $150 into an account and am $163.74 now. So I get the low-stakes wagering.

A bunch of Iowa wrestlers got suspended for the upcoming season, including the coach's nephew, whose dad is an assistant coach.

You need to dive into the arrest warrant to really appreciate what a dumbass Kayshon Boutte was in that scheme.
He placed bets from his own phone, inside the LSU football building and at his residence. He went to the trouble of using a fake name for the account, but used his mom's credit card and had two usernames with his name and jersey numbers.

The funniest part to me, though, was that he placed two bets on himself as part of an eight-leg parlay for the 2022 opener vs. Florida State. He bet that he would score a touchdown and go over 82.5 yards.
His final stat line was two catches for 20 yards and no touchdowns in a 24-23 loss.

The reporting is a little confusing, but is it that the investigators abused their right to use location technology in the gambling apps?

Yeah, a lot of this doesn't smell right.

Suddenly all that deferred money doesn't sound so kosher if he has other avenues of income. Honest question, is there anything barring players from talking to gamblers? Giving them inside dirt?
