Is there anyone on the plane who can reach the 13th green in 2 and didn't have turbot for dinner? (Airplane movie humor.)

I can just see the look on 88 year old Gary Player’s face looking at this menu.

Gwen and I went to the second round of the Valspar today.

    1. Despite forecasts of up to two inches of rain, it only sprinkled. However, it was damn cool and windy for the morning group.
    2. How can two hot dogs, a bag of potato chips and a Coke Zero cost $30?
    3. As much as I think the world of Brendon Todd's golf talent ...

Sorry, just can't say what I think about a red and black bag with a massive Georgia G on it, let alone sponsored by Gannett/USA Today Sports.

    4. However, I more than made up for it by getting a Gator chomp from Billy Horschel.

The prices of concessions (and apparel-caps-shit) always make me do a double-take before I snap back into reality at the Toor Champeenship at East Lake. Their prices there are insane.

Then there is Augusta, which treats the fan, er, patron, fairly.

It was such a pleasure to enjoy the fairly priced offerings at Augusta, among other things.

My Dad went to the Players Championship one year and was beside himself at what he paid for a couple burgers and sodas. I had to remind him that the last golf tournament he had attended was the Masters.

I'd also love to know what Brendon Todd gets from Gannett from that sponsorship. And is that the real reason it dropped AP?

I went to the '76 Olympics in Montreal. I was shocked a Pepsi was $1.50 at the Olympic Stadium, double the price at Yankee games (or anywhere else). Served in Bankruptcy Blue cups, of course.

Cam Young has plenty of talent but at some point he’s going to need a PGA Tour win. Couldn’t have had a better opportunity than today. Weak field. Then he gets to 18 and queefs it off the planet, somehow makes the green and makes a disastrous bogey. Shoutout to Malnati for a great birdie on 17 and a clutch sand save on 18, but damn, I was expected more from Cam in that spot.

Malnati also sponsored by USA Today Sports.
