It's a risk I suppose. But if he turns out to have some amazing season they could just tag him to buy enough time to work on an extension. Besides he wants to be there , so if he has any success I doubt he'd be eager to leave.

Your hindsight is impressive. Now go back and find a single mock draft from before the 2022 draft that didn't have him in the first round. I never saw one.

That's because everyone -- teams, fans, media -- overrates quarterbacks coming out in the draft.

Chefs trade L'Jarius Sneed to Tennessee for a three in 2025 and a swap of sevens this year.

I get the reasons, but this is a big loss for KC. Last season they put him on the No. 1 WR and he held down everyone from Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson to Davante Adams and Jamarr Chase.

He had an awesome game in the Super Bowl.

He should have been first-team All-Pro. Somehow he didn't even make the Pro Bowl.

We have a situation in the NFL where a current player has turned off his phone and gone missing for two weeks after being accused of domestic battery — dude is running from the law as a fugitive — and we’re here talkin about Kenny fuckin Pickett. I love this place.

That doesn't seem to be enough for Sneed even with the cost of the new deal the Titans gave Sneed.

You never know where the tangents will go. I keep looking for news on Cam Sutton. The only update I found was a report that he has suffered blackouts that have happened out of nowhere since college. He didn't say anything until one happened in a game, but he said they happened fairly often. This was reported while he was in college, but I had never seen it until today.

Teams that want a quarterback in the draft have to plan accordingly. I don't think J.J. McCarthy should be a first-round pick, but there are many reports out there that have him going in the top 10.

Most recent thing I saw was that he was released. It’s crazy we aren’t seeing more about this the same way it’s crazy 40 people were killed in Moscow and it’s barely even on our news.

Seems plenty fair to me, and I suspect @dixiehack agrees.
