Damn, that was a good piece. And yet, I took each element of the story and asked myself if it was in line with my pre-conceived notion of her. Every time, the answer was yes.

Well, except for Brittney Griner's arrest. :)

ESPN’s listings ain’t much better. Every game is either an Albany Regional or a Portland Regional.

Just go back to East, West, South and Midwest. Even if it’s not totally geographically accurate.

Great story by the always excellent Ross Dellenger. Interesting fact: Mulkey lives with a woman who helped raise Mulkey’s kids, who are now adults? That sounds like a lifestyle that Baylor might find improper and grounds for expulsion in the case of students.

The women having on-campus games for opening weekend is pretty cool. And the home court advantage isn’t benefiting Iowa very much against West By God.

Gay students don’t get expelled from Baylor. There are at least two student-led groups on campus, including one that has jumped through the hoops of being an official university-sanctioned student organization.

I still find it amusing when you see an athletic program sink tens of millions of dollars into a football all for it to come down to a freshman walk-on kicker to win or lose the big game.

Good. How long has this been the case? For what % of Mulkey's tenure was homosexuality impermissible and grounds for dismissal from Baylor?

Midway through the fourth quarter, they're tied in Iowa City.

Yeah, Clark needs to hit some of the shots she has clanked in the past 5 minutes.

Has the Herald-Leader put out their story on Cim Mulcey yet?
