Is it weird to have a boner?

It’d be weird if you didn’t.

I know this minor beef has been settled but I pictured either you or @Slacker ripping off a wife-beater to the tune of "Real American" and it was glorious.

Nobody’s qualified to play Jesus, though.

    OK, maybe Sami Zayn.

Superstar Billy Graham used to come out to Jesus Christ Superstar as his entrance, so there’s that.

C'mon, man. Steve Austin already has been crucified and come back from it.

Happy Easter everyone (to those who celebrate...)

Figure I'd recycle the thread - maybe even recycle my thoughts. But as a kid, Easter was a "big deal" - I don't mean for a kid, but you'd see TV ads about fancy clothes, grocery stores, treats etc. We'd go to my grandparents for an extended family meal, church of course, egg hunts when we were little, but even after that. But holiday seems to almost have vanished as a secular holiday. You don't see TV specials - animated or variety - pretty sure CBS always showed the Sound of Music or something every year. I don't know if I've seen an Easter-themed episode of a TV show in years.
Its funny, because for all the "War on Christmas" stuff some people throw around, Easter at least seems to have returned mostly to its religious roots (except for those great stories on Monday about a community egg hunt that turns into a free for all).

I could go on, about some of my PC friends who will SHOUT Happy Hannukah, Happy Ramadan, etc. even though they're agnostic/atheist types. Others who feel they have whisper anything about a Christian holiday. Its just curious to me.

Easter certainly did seem like a bigger deal 10-20 years ago, and certainly in the 80s when I was a kid. Given that major retailers haven't figured out how to make a huge deal out of it, because it's not a holiday that includes exchanging gifts, it probably won't ever have the stature it did.

As a lifelong agnostic/atheist/whatever, it doesn't cross my mind until I go into the grocery store and see the Peeps and chocolate eggs on the shelves.
