You may be right — there was a lot in that story — but I think Clark wanted, at some point, to play for UConn because her favorite player was Maya Moore.

Either way, should be a great matchup on Friday.

The stpid thing is that its A: 23 in 33 tries since the first one and B 22 of the last 29 tries

I slightly doubted Clark because I thought she was a scorer but she was fantastic tonight; she made shots that made me “ooh” like when I watch Steph.

I was rooting for JuJu and she’s silky, but Bueckers is nails. She’s so smooth and smart without forcing anything. I’d love to be her teammate.

As to the last graph, EVERY coach is going to say that about his star player. To not do so would be damn near a fireable offense.

Maybe especially in the women’s game.

Neutral Corner and dixiehack like this.

It's the new "Rodgers pissed 49ers didn't draft him."

I see the conservative chucklefucks are gloating because LSU skipped the anthem and lost. Where the fuck were they last year when LSU won?

The LSU players are black and therefore are too woke and not real Americans. Like the Iowa players.

There is an obvious white/black plot line in this story, but Reese and Mulky are so damn unlikeable. The rest of LSU? Great players and a joy to watch.

    Iowa flops and complains.

Reese bitches at her teammates and has the body language of Veruca Salt.

I like Reese’s game a lot, but she seems like no fun to play with. LSU is got to be kicking itself this morning — tons of very easy missed shots.

I was more referring to her 2-of-10 shooting on wide-open looks and one assist, not her defense. Clark was absurd. Van Lith was a disaster the whole tournament. Shot 6 of 30 and was below her season averages across the board.

To bad HBO didn't broadcast the game. They could have used the

    BLACK

graphic they used during "Winning Time."

Which is the greater transgression, or is it a tie?
    • Caitlin Clark saying that Geno Auriemma didn't recruit her hard.
    • Zach Edey saying that Rick Barnes didn't recruit him hard.

I'd say a 3-star recruit who was barely seeing the floor at the time was more stupid in his remarks, but every athlete claiming to be "disrespected" should have STFU about 40 years ago.
