Few things are better in a baseball regular season than watching your favorite team have a start-to-finish rout of a bad team. Feels so effortless and with not a single worry.

    Fly the W, Cubs.

    The Rockies are a Double-A team. It's a joke.

And they might not be the worst team in baseball. There are some dreadful, dreadful teams this year.

Twins and Brewers out here playing Game 7 of the World Series.

Twins down one in the top of the fourth, load the bases with two outs. Brewers bring in their lefty to face left-handed leadoff hitter Edouard Julien, who hasn't sat for a minute this season. But since Julien has a career sub-.500 OPS vs lefties, Twins bring in Manuel Margot to pinch-hit. And he pinch-bunts! Safe at first, game tied at 1-apiece.

    NOT SO FAST, MY FRIENDS!

Brewers review the play. Margot is out! Twins magic trick fails. And prick Rhys Hoskins leads off the bottom of the inning with a homer. After all that, the Twins lead by 2.

Ironic, considering his post-Nats career has been an abortion.

I sure hope Jackson Holliday doesn't open his MLB career 0-for-14 when he finally arrives, because you'll have people jumping out of windows all around the Beltway.

Between the wailing for St. Jackson to come save them, and the wailing over Colton Cowser's limited at-bats so far, you'd never believe the O's are 3-2.
