If the entire Electoral College was percentage based, it wouldn't be that bad of a system. Everyone would get a fair say. No state is completely red or blue.

But I imagine the results would almost mirror the popular vote percentages.

So whatever outdated logic exists for there being an electoral college is rendered moot.

Would like to see the math to see exactly what the ramifications may be.

If you get to the full filling, there's a pretty good explanation of the handling of classified information, and when a security violation becomes criminal ...

I'd like to see the math if every state did it like Nebraska and Maine: Win the whole state you get two, then do it on congressional district. I'm sure it's out there.

What I was thinking would be more like this:
If you state has 10 electoral votes, and Candidate A gets 70% of the vote, then they get 7 EVs, and Candidate B gets 3. I don't know that anything would really change, but at least everyone would feel somewhat like their vote mattered.

I keep asking myself, if we don't stand for the anthem before a movie, symphony, opera or theater performance, why do we before a game? It's all considered entertainmenet, right? OK, maybe on Opening Day and holidays, but a routine midweek game?

@HanSenSE What movies or symphonies are you going to where they play the national anthem?
