So there are three McCanns who have played catcher in the bigs, two currently, and none are related to each other?

 

They want him to get more seasoning at second base. Which is prudent, but come on the guy is ready.

 

WHat are people's opinions about Bally's broad coverage of the game? I dislike the graphic overlay but the analysis is less insipid than what I had been expecting.

 

You could probably say the same about Kjerstad, Mayo, Norby, and Stowers. But some of these fans seem to want a 26-rookie roster. The guys like Urias and Mateo won't be around for much longer, but they did contribute to an AL East champion last year.

 

I've never seen a drip-drip-drip of talent in my baseballl lifetime.

And they have more dudes in the low minors.

The club was built cheaply and smartly, a pretty stark contrast to the Angelos Orioles.

 

I'm in the midst of watching "True Detectives" on MAX. Brought up the streaming APP last night to watch it and see a logo for the Dodgers-Giants game (I don't have the Dodgers channel). So I click on it and get the game. But the audio and video skip every few seconds, not even together -- sometimes the audio, sometimes the video. Very irritating. Then I see the TBS logo in the corner. I went to TBS on regular TV and it is blacked out. I went back to MAX and finished the game despite irritating skipping. After the game ended, I watched a "True Detectives" episode and everything was OK. Sound familiar to anyone??

 

I watched a little bit of the game Monday. The only names that immediately came to mind were Blackmon and Bryant but confess next to no expertise on the Rockies.

 

And now they're owned by someone who will spend to keep those kids.

 

I might add Ryan McMahon on my end, but that's about it. And, of course, that's more than I can say for the *YOUR NAME HERE* Athletics.
