    Oh, I'm certain of that. My point was if you can use 50-60% of another design and modify it for this location, that puts you months ahead of starting at square one.

    This stuff will come out in dribs and drabs as the NTSB and its investigators see fit. As with most incidents of this scale, it's not just the one thing.

    Having dealt with personally with the NTSB, we'll get a preliminary report in pretty quick order. We got one within two to three weeks of the plane crash. If anything comes out in "dribs and drabs," it will be leaks. This is a high-profile event, vs. what we endured, but it took nearly two years to get the final report on the plane crash from the NTSB. Granted, it took nine months to recover the remnants of the crash and reconstruct as best they could because winter set in early. That said -- NTSB is very, very deliberate and matter-of-fact. They are damn good at what they do, at least in our experience and our first-hand experience with law enforcement in the county where the crash happened.
