"If you think the spirit of ECW died in a bankruptcy court in 2001, you can suck my fucking dick!"

    DAAAAAAMMMMMMMMNNNNNNN.

Forget it. With apologies to Undertaker a few years ago, that was the greatest acceptance speech they've ever had.

Paul was absolutely incredible. How the hell can anyone follow that

Meanwhile, on the "other channel," what a beautiful and emotional sight.

Bo and his sister inducting their dad and uncle. Well deserved, but damn it...

That segment with Ali's widow and the Rock was pretty cringeworthy.

Yeah, and the ceremony seems set up with Rock coming out again to induct his grandmother. With all due respect, you can't go off with a posthumous induction to someone who was never involved with the company.

Unless they're trying to go off air with Cody/Bloodline heat, but even then, I like keeping the HOF ceremony out of storylines (same with Rey/Dom last year).

If not Heyman, they needed to go out with the US Express and a tribute to Bray.

Heyman's speech was epic, but it totally deflated the crowd. Not even Big E could wake them up.

The fireflies moment were just about the only perk up since Heyman went off.

I feel bad for him, but the crowd doesn't give two bits about what Thunderbolt Patterson is saying.

The heart is there, but not the best choice for beyond 12:30 in the morning.

I'm actually proud that they're being respectful enough not to break into a "What!?" chant.

That's saying a lot about Philly.

Does the WWE have the spirit of ECW though? Doesn’t seem like it.

They should've just segued straight from Rock getting that weird championship from Ali, into inducting his grandmother. This is just awkward as hell and screams nepotism and the corporate influence.
