South Carolina’s outside shooting — much better than in last year’s semifinal — and superior depth has been impressive.

Iowa has subbed in a couple players, but the Gamecocks have 36 points off the bench. Hawkeyes have 0.

You could pretty much tell the point when Clark lost faith in any of the other schlubs* in black and yellow and tried to win it 1-on-5.

*They’re better than last year, but they’ve largely been schlubs the second half.

Nobody ever presses; that's why you can get away with it.

Glad at least Holly Rowe interviewed Staley first. I was worried ESPN was going to interview Clark first.

Maybe, but she has deserved all of it -- good and bad.

But yeah, Rowe and ESPN are fortunate that they didn't go to Clark first. They would have been crucified for that.

Clark — and this isn’t just about todays game — is very loose with the ball. And every time she had it taken away, she bitched and wanted a foul called.

South Carolina's one of those teams where everyone on the floor can make you look bad. Clark doesn't see that very often.

Three of Iowa's starters today played all 40 minutes, and one played for 35. Iowa subbed in two players; they got a combined 18 minutes of playing time.
