From the chair's perspective, if I had to spend time on the roof of one of those new Broadway bars, I'd want someone to throw me over the side to put me out of misery.

There was a story a few weeks back about our congressman's son getting arrested for allegedly tossing a drink off the roof of one of those bars and hitting a cop in the foot. Does Nashville PD just sit down on the street waiting for people to throw stuff at them?

Absolutely. Because of the size of the object, tossing a chair off a multiple-story building might be more dangerous than a lot of other projectiles. But because it's so odd, it's going to be viewed as a goofy curiosity or just a good ole boy having a good time. He should have been charged with attempted murder to get his attention and to ensure he'd have to plead to something serious. But no. He's white, famous, rich, powerful, liked by the right people and about to get away with it.
