Ever since Trump's boy DeJoy took over, we no longer have a regular carrier. The carriers trade off doing our route on OT after they do their own route. I used to check for the mail after lunch, now it's after dinner. Sometimes the mail doesn't come until 9 p.m.

 

There isn't much being said about it, but it appears that the U.S., Japan, and Australia are taking steps toward forming a Pacific version of NATO.

It's kind of already a thing. Our navies are all kinds of intertwined, and the USN presence in that part of the world depends on our relationship with Japan.

 

Serious question: Why do people have AAA? I have experienced a situation where I thought “Damn, wish I had AAA!”

 

My PPP was for my side gig (where I'm a self-employed contractor). My main source of income remained the same. And as it turned out, I didn't lose any meaningful amount of my income from my side gig. The PPP turned out to be -- as those I consulted with assured me it would be -- essentially free money. A handout.
