Just saw "Stumpfest." The men, Bandit included, are taking out tree stumps in the yard. Great episode.

My favorite detail - the wives are watching the guys work on the stumps. In their hands? Cocktail glasses, on the rocks.

    I love this show.

I have a 10-year-old who is into more tween stuff, but this sounds interesting. I'll see if I can coax her into watching one or two eps.

Most kids shows are just advertorials to get us to buy toys shown in the show, but I LOVED Bubble Guppies. Such a sweet, no-frills, good-hearted show. The one where one of the guppies welcomes a baby sister and the show ends with all the guppies' baby photos being shown...damn, that one still hits me. I enjoy watching more mature stuff w/my daughter but I miss her--us--watching that.

One of the new episodes that dropped was Grouchy Granny. Particularly if you are a regular viewer and familiar with Muffin, it may be the best episode in the series.

Tradies is a magnificent eight minutes.

My 15-year-old daughter and I watch Bluey as we eat lunch.

The song from the Rain episode (itself quite lovely) now has words.

In honor of the remaining Season 3 episodes finally hitting Disney Plus this month, enjoy Chili and Bandit fighting through a New Year’s hangover.

“The Sign” … wow. As someone who’s about to sell a house he doesn’t really want to leave and move away, this one hit me in all the feels.

    Beautiful episode.

This is off-topic in terms of the show, but if we're talking about streamed things supposedly for kids -- but ones with writing good enough to watch without kids, or without being a kid -- I'll throw out Star Trek: Prodigy. It's on Netflix now, after having started on Paramount+ and being jettisoned from there due to the latter's financial state. What's on now is Season 1, with Season 2 still upcoming.

I’m sick of cartoon Australian dogs making me cry on a monthly basis. My five-year old is utterly confused when he sees his parents bawling to his favorite show when Rusty makes the big show.

The one that shows kids how to be graceful when you are good at something… really good.
