That's not just any cocksucker, that's Marquette, Michigan cocksucker Adam Hamari (who worked the plate in that game)! #UPthreadjack

Sorry, Hermes, but I came to this thread to note that with Cleveland at 17-6 and two teams (KC and Detroit at 14-10), the AL Central is actually looking pretty good, White Sox notwithstanding. And Detroit's record includes them nerfing two out of three against Oakland in their first home series of the year.

    Greatest shortstop in movie history.

Years ago some talk radio guys here in Toronto were killing time putting together a list of the best movie baseball players at each position. They couldn't find a shortstop so they asked Pat Gillick, Jays' GM at the time and the next guest, and he never hesitated: "Tanner Boyle". Gave a pretty good scouting report on the kid...."fiery....gamer, dirtbag type who wants to win..."

Kid fought the entire seventh grade. Tremendous moxie for his size.

Did you see him in "Breaking Training" when the two staffers tried to get him off the field? Kid had moves like Barry Sanders -- assuming he grew out a little bit, he might have held his own on the gridiron.

Kevin Coster once threw a perfect game and also was a helluva minor league catcher. Spent 21 days in The Show once.

If we were to add TV to that list, Venus Flytrap would have to be considered for CF, dude could cover some ground.

I don't recall what position he played, but we need a place for Joe Hardy from Damn Yankees.
