    QBs gone - I'm going to bed. Glad the Raiders got Bowers. Who gets him the ball will be interesting.
    .
    One last note though - it almost seems that teams "give up" on first rounders almost in less time than they put in evaluating them ahead of the draft.

    I have a good friend who is a Broncos season ticket holder and is tapped into the team thanks to his job and he told me Tuesday they were picking Nix. I replied with a hearty laugh and he gave me a “just you wait”

    I'm biased, but I think Nix will be much better than McCarthy. Solid pick for Denver.

    Not sure what your point is. Someone suggested Denver was trying to move up to get McCarthy, failed, and settled for Nix. I think Nix will be better.

    Nix strikes me as a Steve Beurlien type - never a star, but a solid QB who will always have a job in the NFL in the next 10 years.
