Even if the puppy was so incorrigible that it needed to be put down, Noem could have taken it to a veterinarian to be put to sleep. That would have been the humane thing to do.

Instead, Noem had to act like a tough girl, wave her gun around and use it on a defenseless animal.

 

And yet, you and your colleagues routinely downplay his conduct

 

I don't care if she lived on a farm or what their law is. Take the dog to a shelter where at least it would die humanely, if at all.

As I recollect one of the Huckabees also killed a family pet. Fuck them too.

I have a hard time imagining a vet would do that to a young, healthy animal. But maybe in that deplorable part of the world they would.
