Robot trucks have been running for years between AZ and TX and FLA and TX. Companies don't advertise it because humans like to pull in front and brake check them.

 

I've been in businesses that ran on 18 wheelers delivering goods. There are a lot of loading docks that are difficult for experienced drivers who have delivered there before to hit.

Maybe the robot is extremely precise, and maybe the trailer, wall, and loading dock get to play rugby.
