Well, the NRA, you know. We can't do anything it doesn't want...

That's really it. There is virtually no other reason for the second amendment not being changed/eliminated.

The thing that made Columbine different was the footage from inside the school. Watching Harris and Klebold walking around armed to the gills while the shooting was going on is still haunting all these years later.

The first-graders at Sandy Hook would've been high school seniors and graduating next month.

We’ll trust a teacher to carry a 9mm, but run their ass out of town if they have a copy of “The Hate U Give.”

RIP. I know it is unlikely, but if more law enforcement organizations and law enforcement officers spoke out and worked for meaningful gun laws - it might help change the dynamic of the gun law debate. You just don't see it though.

Likely to be lots of questions asked about tactics and personnel and why they're serving a warrant against a felon for weapons possession at midday like this. And why marshals and police and corrections officers?

    Heartbreaking.

It's pretty common for a task force to have various agencies involved.

    Understood.

I guess what I'm asking about is the disparity in training, the tactical coordination and comms and who's in charge and why you'd just walk up to the house in broad daylight like that.
