So CCNY will win both the NIT (National Israeli Tournament) and NCAA (National Caliphate Adaptation Association) tournament again?

Cops feel comfortable beating the shit out of anyone and everyone. And they will never suffer consequences for it. ACAB.

    Speaking of depersonalized avatars...

This'll end up working more or less how the far left hoped it would: The fault of the cops.

You mean we can get rid of racist dipshits on a powertrip loudly supported by people who love seeing minorities and hippies get the crap beat out of them for minor things?

You mean an organization in this country that was created for the sole purpose to control the movement of slaves? We can get rid of that?

We might have to replace it with a system that doesn't reward racists and puts their racist supporters in check?

Sounds like the theme song to the Soviet version of "The Love Boat."

    Much better . . .

I think the anti-Semitism angle cannot be understated. Granted, Vietnam happened before the U.S. military was really ever a target of open criticism, but Jews are, if I am using the legal jargon correctly, a "suspect class." If this were a conflict over some strip of South America, no one would give an airborne fornication. There are still living members of that ethnic group that survived a genocide of 6 million people. And as noxious as some of their tactics have been, this is a country that was the victim of a heinous terrorist attack and that has been under various states of siege by its neighbors since the day it was founded.

As Deskgrunt noted, Israel is enough of a victim here that certain bad actors can easily make this about siding with the scary Mooslims over the Bible people, and that's before you get to the people, some of them relatively prominent, who have posited that Israel and Jews must defend themselves by any means necessary because of the nature of the threat, because of their history and/or because of the lack of groups that have their back.

Existing antisemitism + the Trumpists allowing their prejudice flags to fly is absolutely a factor. Palestinian/Arabic activists with a legitimate (or illegitimate) axe to grind. Steve Bannon stirring up shit. Dumbshit students and legit student activism. Russia, China, NK, Iran seeding propaganda. It's a nasty stew.

For the counter-protestors of the SEC, it just means more.

A few posts mention cops beating people up. Are there any reports of bearings? UCLA went pretty easy once the walls were breached.

Professors at WashU-St. Louis and Dartmouth were injured by police. That's about the only reports I've seen.
