So trump actually said he’s not allowed to testify because of the gag order. Which is obviously a ridiculous fucking lie but his enablers and supporters will believe it or run with even knowing it’s a fucking lie.

It's a standard procedure in a criminal trial for the judge to ask the defendant if he/she understands they have the right to testify. It doesn't always happen, because the defendant's lawyer sometimes makes a statement in court as to whether or not that'll happen. So the judge will speak directly to Trump in open court and he'll have to respond he gets it.

Oh, I certainly understand that. It's just yet another bullshit lie from trump because his lawyers know he'll commit perjury if he takes the stand. He can't go 10 seconds without provable lies. But Fox News and his cast of enablers will make it gospel, and the truth, as usual, won't matter to them.

The next seven months can't go by fast enough.

 

Yesterday, I went to the dentist. No cavities, got a hygienist with a little lighter touch, which is nice because I have a strong gag reflex, but anyway, I was cheerful until I realized I booked my next appointment for Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Eh, I do disagree with that. Just from the standpoint of what has happened in 2018, 2020, 2022 and all the special elections. Sure, anything can happen. But the POLL?!?!?!?!!? numbers have been so ridiculously off that the system is broken beyond repair.

I'm absolutely fine with Dems staying engaged and motivated. They need to be. But there's no actual evidence trump is winning. The actual numbers of people voting tell quite a different story.
