Bushmills was on a deep discount sale.

My 18 Macallan, 18 Glenrothes and 16 Aberlour are, yes, much better. Those were a divorce present to myself.

    Never been to the Hamp.

"Thank you for your presentation, ma'am. Now, would you please
sum up your top priority in coming here and recruiting us tonight?"

"I want to ask you to really look inside yourself and ask yourself what are you called to do to help this mission? Are you called to participate? Are you called to come and work on the resolutions? Are you called to work on the legal briefings? Are you called to write me a $10,000 check today? Because we need money to get this done."

"Ahhh, yes, of course. Thank you, ma'am, and enjoy your flight home."

    Nah, they're canines themselves.

Hyenas, jibbering about and scavenging off the dead. Dangerous. They should be shot on sight.

I think I was drinking Two Buck Chuck. Seemed like a statement.

If its any comfort, the results will likely still be unclearish. Maybe not drag into Saturday like 2020 - but you have Arizona and Nevada being the likely tipping points this time around - at least according to current polling.

My aunt from California visited up this way, she is convinced Trump is going to lose - "there's no way he's going to win, I'll bet $5oo. My sister and I just kind of looked at each other, wondering if we should take it. I think the silence we offered was enough to get the point across to my aunt that Trump polling as well as he is - at this point, AFTER his first go round, with all the legal problems, all the disastrous GOP election failures since he took over the party....you can't guarantee anything.

I do get a sense that - as there always is - some unforeseen thing turns the election on its head, changes the dynamic. And if it is this tight now - it might be anything but come November.

The only poll numbers I trust are poll numbers from actual elections. We've had several of those.

Trump is gonna get skunked. Why is this so hard for you to believe?

I mean, there's a distinct chance Trump is in a New York state penitentiary, or at least convicted. The crazy thing is I can't tell for sure that it wouldn't improve his polls.

Internal polling tightening up or has him losing, clearly.

"Well, hell, I once shot down an old boyfriend
way out there in the foothills, and so what? He was
a damn dog, too, and ain't nobody missing him yet."

I always enjoy seeing this clip again, because I love watching Fucko's face.

America's Mr. Tough Mob Boss, Don Whoreleone, sure looks like a wussy in real life.

Just imagine the poor SOB who has to ask him to bend over and spread his cheeks during intake. American Heritage magazine (RIP) used to run stories about average people's brush with history-makers. I can only imagine. "I was working at SingSing in the fall of '24, I was the deputy warden, new on the job. Well, a former President was due to arrive and the warden, who was expected to do the "honors" (out of respect for the office) suddenly called in sick - so it was up to me. In walked former President Trump, he looked paler than usual for some reason, and a lot smaller, his Secret Service team and I exchanged pleasantries and I said we'd do this as quickly as possible to not inconvenience him. Oddly enough, even after rising to the position of deputy warden, I had never done one of "these" before....
