Maybe the "Death to America" chants and vibes that accompany the criticism have something to do with it?

It also begs the question why are they criticizing a completely different country on the whole other damn side of the world, IN a country on the whole other damn side of the world?

    No I don’t think I will.

Like if someone shouts death to America or yanks down the Stars and Stripes for a Palestinian flag somewhere not on their property, I think that person sucks. But sometimes you gotta just roll your eyes, call them a nasty name under your breath and go on with your day. Maximum escalation of tension is frankly what the protesters are angling for anyway.

If I walked past a group of protesters and they were waving any kind of flag, I'd most likely eye roll and ignore them.
If they were trying to run another flag up a standard - especially if they lowered a US flag to do so - I know myself well enough to know I'd get actively engaged.

What do we make of the green tents?
I guess there might be a logical "why" to them, in that Palestine's color is green and it's a solidarity thing. Like the official colors for Team Palestine.
The "how" is sparking up some conspiracy theories, though. Thousands of brand new tents, all across the country, all the same model and color, all readily available to distribute and build a tent city on a moment's notice in multiple locations. The logistics of it are curious, to say the least.
I bet Coleman turns a profit this quarter.

The first two shots are amazingly tight. Why does everything has to be a conspiracy?

Tell me you don’t go to music festivals or spend time near campgrounds without telling me.

I wouldn’t recommend it for you either, but I’d understand it a little more knowing you signed enlistment papers. I doubt some Kappa Sig drinking his way through Oxford on Daddy’s home equity loan can say the same.

But no blue, or orange, or red ones, just because they bought all the green ones? Or wherever they bought them from online was out of stock on green?

Most tent manufacturers don’t give you a color option on the rainfly. Model A gets green. Model B gets blue. I’m guessing all those matching tents were the cheapest available at Costco or REI or wherever they got them for probably $80 or less.
