You're free to have that opinion.

But they're not tools of the global right's overton window shifting operation.

And again: I couched my comments in the concept of free speech - academic freedom. Maybe we don't need academic freedom. Or, more to the point, maybe the academic freedom we need to make a better world is precisely whatever progressivism tells us academic freedom should be. Progressives certainly seem to think so.

Figures you would be in favor of getting rid of a policy that was aimed at school helping people connect with the material. Heaven forbid we recognize there are other perspectives than the white European one. But again, on brand.

Yes, I'm sure that if the protestors coast to coast pooled all their protest budgets they could buy less than a tenth of a percent of a DOD stock. Then they could vote their proxies. That'll show 'em.

Or maybe he means they should push their universities to divest of their other investments and buy stock in Boeing.

One error in that article- she notes that comedians have been complaining that “political correctness” is killing comedy for nigh on a decade. That’s not really accurate- they’ve been doing it since comedy began, and in more modern times there were very prominent comics in the 50s whining that comedy was dead because they couldn’t tell n*****r jokes anymore.

To be clear: I’m a Democrat.

Don’t pay attention to my 4,000 posts shitting on the entire spectrum of the left and almost none criticizing Republicans.
