Damn, I'd have figured Lawler would be kept on a legends contract for life. Not even as a "thank you," just as a practical retainer for documentaries and history stuff if they needed him.

 

Looking more into it, Lawler will still have his legends contract. This was just his broadcasting contract that expired.

Between this and Ric's meltdown over some restaurant in Florida, I'd like to thank Sting for retiring to take away any direct reason for Flair to be on AEW TV.

 

WWE putting some of its first round King/Queen of the Ring qualifiers on house shows this weekend. That's actually a great idea to put some suspense on a card that's usually totally predictable.

 

It's a living where you can get it, but Gargano isn't part of the rest of the Euro leg or the PLE, but he goes over there and back for one house show Sunday.

Dammit, that Ricochet/Dragunov match was brilliant.

Does he beat Uso next week? Do they set things up for Dragunov/Gunther in the Raw final?

So it has to be a bangers and mash match.
