The NCAA isn’t the only outfit not to know what it has on its hands.

But in an hour of need, a hero arises.

No one was airing Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso's WNBA preseason debuts, so an X user livestreamed it

It's embarrassing how many men cannot handle being around women in a professional setting without making complete assholes of themselves.

A better answer would have been:

    1) "Who are you? Spell out your first and last names. Who do you work for? How did you get your credential?"

    2) "None of your fuckin business."

Wasn't it a woman who asked the "bae" question? Sure sounded female on the audio.

    Yeah, I think you’re right.

I’ll amend this to… can we treat her like an athlete and not be condescending and weird?

See, what surprises me is that the column didn't call out the offending reporter by name. Why wouldn't he? Because it was a woman, and he doesn't want to spoil his narrative?

IndyStar could have picked up some goodwill/saved face in the couple days after that debacle by suspending him and announcing it, and maybe even have done Doyel a favor in the long run. Instead the Star won't comment and Doyel basically has to lie about it, saying he had a family trip. Well done, Gannett.
