    The dirty secret of SNL is that most of the show is on Sunday anyway! #jokesfromscottaukerman It's still on its normal day, just not its normal time.

    These Mother's Day segments they've had the last handful of years have become great traditions. Really sweet and funny.

    Best one, though, was the childhood videos with Reese Witherspoon. Loved the nod to just show Kenan's D2 clip.

    True. I think that one was about 4.5 hours counting the red carpet show they had.

    Good start so far, though the Destroy video was a little lacking to me. Hot Ones was spot on.

    As per tradition this season, our local NBC affiliate ran an extra spot before the first song by the musical act. Dude was already mid-verse when it joined.

    I've become a fan of the Hot Ones segments, and then that shows up in the first slot. I loved it.

    Sure, they had all the moms, but I like how they let Maya hold her own, instead of pulling out fellow alumni or cameos, which they do pretty often when other alumni host.
